How a Gathering Works
The DBS Rhythm
A simple, repeatable foundation. Build your own curriculum around the needs you see. Each gathering moves through three questions of relationship.
Ourselves
- What are you thankful for this week?
- What are you stressed about this week?
- Did anything change after last week — did you tell the story or act on it?
God
- Read, tell, and retell a story from God's Word.
- What thoughts and feelings did you have hearing and telling it?
- What does it teach about your relationship with God?
Others & Creation
- What did the story teach about people or creation?
- Is there anything you or the group should do in response?
- Who do you want to tell this story to this week?
