Global Member Care Team: Supporting Those Who Serve

Providing pastoral Care to One Collective field Workers Around the World

At One Collective, we’re committed to supporting our workers along every step of their serving journey.

To ensure our workers receive the support they need, we've created a dedicated team of individuals focused on supporting workers around the world.

Focusing on their emotional, spiritual, and relational well-being, as they process new challenges is a vital piece of empowering workers to create change and live out the ways of Jesus in communities where they serve.

The Global Member Care Team Focuses on:

  • Listening to workers' concerns and challenges.

  • Praying regularly for their strength and guidance.

  • Encouraging them to stay hopeful and grounded in their mission.

  • Offering a safe space for honesty, transparency, and vulnerability.

Role of a Care Team Member

When workers first land on the field, they may encounter culture shock or other unexpected challenges.

Care team members have experience working in the field and know what it’s like to contribute to holistic long-term work in new cultures around the world.

Care Team Members regularly check in with workers throughout their serving journey. When a difficult situation arises, a foundation of trust is already established. During times of crisis or emotional stress, the member care team makes themselves available for increased engagement and support.

“I am so thankful that God sent us exactly the person we needed at exactly the right time. It is a blessing to know that we have an advocate who prays for us regularly, celebrates with us, mourns with us, and walks with us through this wonderful and messy life of ministry.”
