Local AIRBNB Options Available

If you are going to stay in an Airbnb, we strongly recommend looking for a local AirBnB that is a reasonable distance from our office–meaning find one in Elgin. While there may be more affordable options that require a commute, keep in mind that we will be in session from 8:30am - 5:00pm most days, and that morning and evening rush hour traffic is a real issue in this part of Chicagoland.

If you are interested in being close to many dining options, coffee shops and activity, we recommend exploring options in Downtown Elgin.

**Previous Access attendees have pooled resources to rent an entire Victorian home in the Historic district downtown Elgin. While not usually cheaper than an extended stay hotel option, this can be a great opportunity to build community with fellow attendees, share evening meals, and carpool. There are several whole-home options downtown Elgin available through Airbnb, and they usually have 5 to 6 available bedrooms and additional pull-out couch sleeping options in various rooms. These Victorians are renowned for their quirky charm and ample space!

**Previous attendees have enjoyed Tia & TJ’s place on Wing Park Blvd [described as “Secluded Wing Park House”]. It is a large house, with plenty of space. They have two bedrooms available.

**Previous attendees recommend Corporate Housing by MGM. 5-10 minute drive from One Collective on Randall Road. 15 minutes from downtown Elgin and 10 minutes from downtown West Dundee with a major shopping / restaurant area just up the street. Apartment had two full bedrooms with queen size beds, two full bathrooms (one attached to the master bedroom); full kitchen and dining table for 4 people; living room with sofa, chair and TV; fast internet; and large capacity washer & dryer; lots of parking.
