The Amadas — The Beloved Women

Pray for Vulnerable Women in Quito, Ecuador — Day 1

About

End Slavery Ecuador serves women who currently find themselves in prostitution in Quito, the capital of Ecuador. We call these women “Amadas” (which means “beloved” in Spanish) because we want them to know that is their first identity: beloved by God. Today we’re sharing with you some of the prayer requests they’ve shared with us.

Prayer Points for Today:

  • Safety, health, and healing for the Amadas’ families, and for themselves. The Amadas’ first prayer request is always for their families, and especially for their kids.

  • Job and business opportunities so that the women are able to leave prostitution, as most of them are only there out of economic necessity.

  • Comfort and peace in the midst of loneliness, grief, loss, and tension in the plazas where they work.
