The small percentage of local believers have faced persecution in different forms.  Some have been interrogated and threatened to lose their job and expose their faith in Jesus to their families.  Others have been told not to meet with anyone else who claims to be a believer, or have had their close expat friends kicked out of the country. And still others have personally been kicked out from their home countries. 

Prayer Points for Today:

• Biblical community is extremely important, especially for a new believer.  Please pray for these new believers, some of whom have lost most, if not all, of their support groups. May they learn to lean on their Heavenly Father more in this time.

• Pray for the Lord to provide Biblical community around them to help encourage them in their faith.
