About
A Person of Peace is a believer that is already a part of the culture that we are trying to reach. He or she is an insider that holds much more influence than an outside worker could ever hope to have. Often, his or her influence and testimony will lead many more local people to Christ. Once found, the local Person of Peace is usually discipled and trained by the outside worker to go make more disciples. In a restricted area like the Middle East, a Person of Peace is essential to the spread of the Gospel.
Prayer Points for Today:
Pray that God would lead the outside worker to the Person of Peace. Whether that person is an existing believer or a new believer led to Christ by the worker, we pray that God would connect the two of them.
Pray that God would give strength, boldness, and discretion to the Person of Peace. It can be extremely intimidating for an insider to share his or her faith with others. Their reputation, job, and safety can be put on the line.
Pray that the Person of Peace would bear much fruit. Pray that multiplication of believers could be started because this person shared the truth.
