Physical Presence

Pray for Transformation in Zora, Bulgaria — Day 4

About

People in relatively closed communities need to experience a consistent physical presence before they allow themselves to believe something good can actually apply to them. Outsiders often promise things and then quietly disappear, when they don’t come to pass. God often uses specific places to express His presence and activity.

Prayer Points for Today:

  • Pray for the small evangelical congregation from among Zora’s residents to be able to find a suitable location to rent for their church services. This is crucial so people are able to come on foot.

  • Pray also for a suitable location for the community-based work David Leistrum foresees – with youth, with victims of abuse, with seniors, with spiritually curious who aren’t ready to step into a church service.

  • Pray for a tangible piece of infrastructure (sports field, for example, or exercise equipment), which we can point to and say, “we had a hand in that.”
