Welcoming our Newest Global Strategist!

As a critical part of the global leadership and support structure to our field workers, One Collective has a team of 12 Strategists and Specialists who support the field by providing niche expertise across a variety of aspects of community transformation. Each member of this team serves as a consultant to our global workers in the areas they specialize in, providing resources, coaching and ideation to help round out the “integrated” aspect of our work, and each of them bring real world international experience to the table. Those roles are:

Strategists:

- Community Development Strategist

- Disciple Making Strategist

- Business Strategist

Specialists

- Health Specialist

- Vulnerable children & Youth Specialist

- Business Coach Specialist

- Business Ideation Specialist

- Women’s empowerment Specialist

- Unreached People groups Specialist

- Community Development Research Specialist

We are excited to welcome our newest addition to that team who will be serving as the global Business Strategist.

Mike B. (full name withheld for security purposes) has spent the past 26 years serving in Central and Southeast Asia. In Central Asia, he developed his business acumen by partnering with local communities to launch a business incubator that supported small enterprises built on local skills and interests. After relocating to Southeast Asia, Mike co-founded a social enterprise coffee shop that provides employment and hands-on work experience for neurodivergent young adults. Building on that foundation, he and his wife Michelle launched a comprehensive vocational training program in 2020, expanding their impact beyond the coffee shop to equip more young adults for meaningful work and transition to adulthood. In this role, Mike works alongside global teams to strengthen, resource, and align marketplace initiatives with One Collective’s Integrated Community Transformation strategy.
