When a team is prayerfully open to wherever God leads, the unexpected can happen. This conversation introduces two One Collective communities who are dealing directly and indirectly from the hardship brought on by war & conflict.
Our team in the Middle East serves refugees from all over the Middle East and strives to help them in tangible ways with urgent medical needs, food, community and entrepreneurial training.
The team in Ukraine responded immediately to war by mobilizing with their local alliance of churches and organizations to serve the masses of IDPs (Internally Displaced People) fleeing to the western side of the country from the front lines. They’ve shifted from crisis to rebuilding by developing a home construction business to build a neighborhood of tiny homes and provide affordable housing.

Knowing when and how to pivot from relief work to long term development amongst insurmountable human suffering
How to effectively come along side transient and displaced people without creating dependency
How the local and global church can respond when the media portrays such dismal hope in war torn regions
