Unleashing Her Potential: Women Empowered for Change

This event has ended - Watch a recorded version of the event below!

Quito, Ecuador and Oxford, UK are both large urban cities seemingly thriving with culture, wealth, and intellect, yet, just like anywhere, hardship and poverty abound. Rising to leadership in both of these contexts requires “standing in the gap” between wealth and poverty and between diverse cultures and a multitude of worldviews.

God has undoubtedly equipped Doris and Lola for exactly what they are doing to bring people together in order to create opportunities of empowerment, healing and hope for a better future that will leave you wondering what more we all could be doing in our own backyards to see the ways of Jesus take hold in a broken world.

Joining us on this Call:

  • Doris Estevez - Serving in Quito, Ecuador

  • Lola Chapman - Serving in Oxford, England

  • How to fight human trafficking in a place where prostitution is legal and widely culturally accepted

  • Building confidence and showing women who have been abused that they are valued, worthy, and have an identity in Christ

  • Creating connection and community resilience through intentional time with other women and mothers

  • How providing alternative employment and developing job skills can build confidence to break down barriers
