What would you like participants to know about your family?

I am married to my sweet husband Mike and we are expecting our first kid (it's a boy!) this fall!

What are your hobbies? What is a fun fact you would like the participants to know about you?

I love hiking and going for long walks, doing yoga, and hosting close friends for yummy meals and good conversations. After serving in the Middle East, I love having friends over for huge spreads of Turkish breakfast - never without my favorite Syrian dip, muhammara!

What would you like to share with participants about how you connect with the Lord, as an encouragement to them?

Always be looking for new ways to connect with the Lord and respond quickly to the ways he prompts you to follow him. The disciplines and practices you develop in one place or time are not guaranteed to work in another - the most important thing is to be ever fostering an active conversation with the Lord and sensitivity to the movement of the Spirit in your life.
