What would you like participants to know about your family?

By God’s grace all of my five children are devoted followers of the risen Jesus and raising my thirteen grandchildren towards a life-long commitment to the Lord and the Christian faith.

What are your hobbies? What is a fun fact you would like the participants to know about you?

I treasure my times with Jayna, my wife, walking and/or having coffee and conversation together. In addition, I enjoy painting landscapes and still-life using acrylic, charcoal pencils, oil pastels, or watercolor.

What do you hope participants will take away from your session(s)?

My prayerful hope is that the participants of our sessions will grow in their awareness of God’s deep love for them through the cross of the Lord and the resurrection of Jesus empowered by the Holy Spirit.

What would you like to share with participants about how you connect with the Lord, as an encouragement to them?

I begin each morning by listening to the Apps “Pray As You Go,” “Lectio 365,” and “Hallow” (esp., Bishop Robert Barron’s Word on Fire Sunday sermons) followed by David Suchet’s reading of sacred Scripture (UK NIV) with “Bible Gateway” having intentionally slowed down my daily schedule of routines and task organization, prioritization, and focus. This allows me to walk prayerfully throughout the entire day with God’s help (Luke 8:15; Eph. 6:19; Col. 4:2-4).
