Believers & the Next Generation
Pray for a Movement of Hope in Central Asia — Day 2
About
Being a follower of Jesus in Central Asia is challenging. When someone chooses to step away from Islam, their decision impacts their relationship with their family, community, and potentially the authorities. The pressure, even persecution, that follows can be intense. Believers who share their faith may be harassed by the government, rejected by their friends, and hurt by their families, both emotionally and physically. For new believers, fear of persecution can lead to isolation, lack of growth, and even reverting back to Islam. For long time believers, fear can affect their boldness and willingness to share.
Prayer Points for Today:
Pray that God would strengthen the faith of believers and comfort them in persecution.
Pray against isolation and for communities of believers to form where fellowships do not exist. Pray for mutual encouragement.
Pray for whole families to come to faith together, that they may lean on one another. Pray for husbands and wives to be unified in faith.
Pray for boldness, that believers would surrender their fear to God and trust Him as they reach the lost.
Pray for the next generation of believers, who are pulled by the pressures of family, social media, and their peers. Pray for passion, strength, and focus in their faith.
