Local Fellowships

Pray for a Movement of Hope in Central Asia — Day 3

About

In Central Asia, there are several registered fellowships and many “undocumented” fellowships meeting in homes. Praise God for His faithful hand to sustain, protect, and establish these gatherings over many years!

Prayer Points for Today:

  • Pray for unity among local fellowships, that there would be forgiveness for past grievances and a spirit of generosity and grace among them.

  • Pray for protection and favor over fellowships when they interact with government officials.

  • Praise God for a recently signed government document allowing fellowships to come together and serve in their communities without suspicion! Pray for its continued authorization and that it would be honored by local government leaders.

Prayer Points for Specific Fellowships:

  • G.L. is moving locations and constructing a new building to fit their needs. Pray for continued funds, government permission, and for the project to continue on schedule.

  • R.C.’s congregation is a mix of ages and ethnicities, but there are few men, which means R.C.’s ability to disciple men in the community is limited. Pray for more believing men to join the fellowship, eager to serve and reach others for Christ.

  • S.M. has endured years of increasing pressure from the authorities, including confiscation of their buildings and imprisonment of their pastor. Pray for continued strength and perseverance, and for physical protection.

  • H.P. is very passionate about sharing the Good News and building discipleship groups in the villages. Pray these groups would be strengthened in number and boldness; that many more villages would be reached.

  • Unregistered fellowships meet in village homes, despite laws prohibiting undocumented gatherings. Pray for the Lord to strengthen them and to increase their number so that every village in Central Asia may be reached.
