Pray for Caring for Vulnerable Women in San José, Costa Rica — Day 4

Our core strategy at One Collective is Integrated Community Transformation (ICT). This flows out of our passion to ensure that no one is invisible and that everyone has access to food, freedom, and forgiveness. The integrated aspect of our strategy recognizes that people and communities have physical needs, social needs and spiritual needs. Therefore, we want to address the needs of the whole person in the whole community.

Daniela and Maria, local survivors of exploitation in the Red Zone, have received services through Casa Esperanza for eight years. For over a year now, they have both volunteered with Casa Esperanza by serving current victims of exploitation through our clothing ministry. Together, these two women spend hours organizing clothing donations, assisting the women we serve in selecting sizes, and creating a system to ensure that every woman in need of clothing or shoes has an opportunity to receive what she needs most. Thanks to our ministry platform, these women have a space where they use their own gifts and abilities to invest in the transformation of their community.

• Pray for peace and reconciliation, so that God’s love may flow through every part of our community.

• Pray for holistic transformation in families, local social networks, businesses, schools, government, and other community organizations and institutions.
