Pray for Zambia — Day 2

About Mapalo Trust School

We work in conjunction with Mapalo Trust School, a local community primary school focused on pre-school through grade 7 that was started sacrificially by 3 teachers who saw a need among the vulnerable within Chibolya. We are now looking forward to seeing the teachers develop their skills to set themselves apart so that the children of Chibolya receive the best education possible. There are currently about 175 students attending Mapalo, many of which would not attend anywhere if Mapalo was not an option.

Prayer Points for today:

For the Ministry

• For the children to grow in knowledge and a love of learning. And for them to feel loved and cared for at school. For the three main teachers (admins) continued support for their salaries (raised from the West) and for the financial resources to pay for the other teachers from the school fees. That the teachers would grow in their own relationship with Christ while also growing professionally. That we would see someone desire to take on the role of Education Ministry Developer from the West. 

For the Team

• That we would be the support the school needs and walk alongside the admin teachers in a way that pushes them to grow professionally and personally. For discernment and guidance as the school moves into full day learning and new Christian curriculum.

For those served

• That the children would find a love for learning and a joy in reading that is not existent in Zambia. That the children might find out more about the God who created them, the love He has for them, and the way all things point to this marvelous God.
