About the Women’s Ministry

Many of the women in our community hold a lot of responsibility to provide for their families because they are either a single parent, the only working spouse, or their spouses are working far away. With that, women often will go to church but not allow the Gospel to change all aspects of their lives from how they parent, to how they run their business, or how they interact with other women. Some may go to church on Sunday and understand Christian faith, but will go to the witchdoctor on Monday to buy good luck charms for their businesses.

Prayer points for Today:

For the Ministry

• For continued opportunities for relationship building and discernment and wisdom in all aspects of ministry. For God’s word and His truth and love to be the center of all groups and programs. 

For the Team

• For a heart of compassion toward the women of Chibolya. For us to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in creating new groups, programs, and Bible studies. 

For those Served

• That the businesswomen of Chibolya would seek to honor God in their businesses and all other aspects of their lives. Also pray that they would be lights in the community and the market so that they shine the love of Jesus to everyone they encounter. 

• For relationship building and one-on-one discipleship. That God would highlight specific people to pour into on a more individual level, while also creating and instilling community among those individuals. 

• For women to experience the healing, restorative, redeeming hand of God in their lives.
