In this training section, you’ll dive deeper into what One Collective’s vision is for seeing lasting change take place.
You’ll watch various videos that center around the core of what we do, why, and what everyone working with One Collective hopes to see.
Not only will this provide you with a better philosophical understanding of holistic work, it will also allow you to be more effective in communicating what One Collective does when you start asking for financial support.

One Collective’s Strategy
Watch this video to gain a general overview of One Collective’s strategy and approach to ministry. This provides a concise look at how the team you’re joining interacts with the community, and is also a great resource to share with friends, family, and financial supporters to describe what One Collective does. It will help you better communicate on behalf of the organization to those you talk with.
Watch core scripture videos (15 min)
One Collective’s Foundation
Take time to carefully watch each of One Collective’s six foundational scripture videos, starting with the introduction. Each provides a more in-depth, Scriptural basis for One Collective’s strategy. These will be valuable to you as you keep learning more about the “why” behind the “how”. Then, spend a few moments reflecting on one or two elements from the videos that stand out to you. What do you notice? What questions do you have? Is there anything you need further clarification on? Anything you disagree with?

One Collective’s Philosophy of Ministry
Read through this entire document, which articulates the foundational beliefs and principles of ministry for One Collective. This document will help you better understand the mission, vision, passion, and values of the organization, and better equip you to engage in the work happening on the field. It also represents shared expectations for everyone employed by and volunteering with One Collective (including you!) and provides a basis for conversations, collaboration, and review.
Take some time to think through your own philosophy of ministry and how it aligns with One Collective’s philosophy of ministry. Is there anything in this document you disagree with or need clarification on?
