Why a Social Enterprise Coffee Shop?

We operate a social enterprise coffee shop and roastery. This is an inclusive workplace with neurodivergent and typical staff. It also provides workplace experience to trainees in our vocational training program. The vision is to create a model inclusive workplace that other businesses in our community can learn from and replicate in their companies. We also want to model what life in God’s Kingdom looks like, where everyone is included and can contribute to transformation in our community.

Prayer Points for Today:

For Staff 

• Our coffee shop staff are mainly young adults who are all at different stages of their spiritual journey. Pray for each of them to take one more step closer to Jesus. 

• Pray for our typical staff as they learn and use helpful strategies for working with neurodivergent staff and trainees. 

For Customers

• Pray for customers to sense the power of God at work in our coffee shop. 

• Pray for enough of a customer base to keep our operations financially sustainable.
