Vocational Training

Our vocational training program provides training in life skills, social skills, and job skills to neurodivergent youth (16+) and young adults. We also offer hands-on work experience opportunities within a network of partner businesses. Trainees are typically in our program for 1 to 2 years, depending on their individual needs and abilities. After completion of the program, we also offer job placement assistance and transitional job coaching.

We have a team of local job coaches who provide on-site training and transitional support in the workplace. They have experience in various areas, such as teaching, special education, and social work, and they receive specific training to work effectively with our trainee population.

For Trainees 

• Pray for our trainees to grow in their life, social, and vocational skills and to transition well into jobs after completing our program. 

• Pray for our trainees to use their unique gifts and abilities to transform the community around them. 

For Job Coaches 

• Our job coaches carry a heavy load. Pray for their ability to manage their workload and create some space for healthy margins. 

For Partner Businesses 

• Pray for the mindset of people working at our partners’ businesses to be challenged by the presence of our trainees working alongside them.
